Welcome to Stinky’s Art Class. We have the best students in the world. Todays lesson is how to draw a pine trees.
Drawing a pine tree is a fun adventure for people that like the outdoors. Pine trees look beautiful in nature and provide shade in the sunny summer days.
To develop your drawing ideas you must first think of the Pine Tree.
How tall is the pine tree?
Does the pine tree have bark?
What color is the pine tree?
Is the pine tree skinny or thick?
Is there anything that is unique about the pine trees?
Once you have thought about your drawing ideas you will be ready to draw a Pine Tree. Don’t worry about planning your drawing perfectly because you will need to be creative to make it original.
Determining what art supplies you need to draw a Pine Tree is important. You will need to decide if you want to use pencil to draw with or colored pencils. You can also use other items like pastels, water colors, acrylic paints, oil paints, latex pain, charcoal, ink, or some kind of carving and print making supplies.
What ever you decide to use, you will most likely need to first start out with a pencil and paper sketch.
Step 1: Stinky likes to start by thinking of his canvas (aka cardboard) and plan a little bit on the layout of the drawing.
Step 2: Stinky likes to start drawing the pine trees trunk. This is where you can get creative with the size and shape of the pine tree.
Step 3: Next you should draw the pine needles. Stinky likes to draw each pine tree with different pine needles. This way maybe stinky might get a piece of art in the museum in Paris.
Step 4: Now that you have the trunk and pine needles of the pine tree you will need to draw the ground. What environment are the pine trees in? Stinky put his pine trees on flat ground but you can put your pine trees on mountains if you like.
Step 5: Once Stinky had everything drawn he thought that the pine trees needed a friend so he drew some mushrooms on the forest floor. This give the pine trees drawing something interesting to look at.
Drawing a Pine Tree makes Stinky think of the nature and outdoors where he sleeps every night. This helps relieve some of my stress from recycling aluminum cans all day.
I think that if you draw a Pine Tree that it will also help you be happy and not stressed at work or school.
Lets be happy and draw Pine Trees together.
