How to Draw a Vampire

Drawing a Vampire can be a frighting thing if you are into the Dracula books and movies. Vampires sleep during the day and only come out at night. They have long teeth that suck blood. Yikes, why would Stinky want to draw a Vampire… Well, have you heard of halloween? People like to dress up as vampires at halloween.

Develop Your Drawing Ideas for your Vampire

To develop your drawing ideas you must first think of the Vampire you want to draw.

What is the Vampire doing?

Is the vampire and man or woman?

Does the vampire look like a movie star?

What is unique about your vampire drawing idea?

Is it a nice vampire or a mean vampire?

Once you have thought about your drawing ideas you will be ready to draw a Vampire. Don’t worry about planning your drawing perfectly because you will need to be creative to make it original.

Recommendation for Stinky’s Art Supplies You Will Need

Determining what art supplies you need to draw a Vampire is important. You will need to decide if you want to use pencil to draw with or colored pencils. You can also use other items like pastels, water colors, acrylic paints, oil paints, latex pain, charcoal, ink, or some kind of carving and print making supplies.

What ever you decide to use, you will most likely need to first start out with a pencil and paper sketch.

5 Steps to Drawing a Vampire

Step 1: Stinky likes to start by thinking of his canvas (aka cardboard) and plan a little bit on the layout of the drawing. That’s important to know how to draw a vampire on your canvas.

Step 2: Determine the shape of the Vampire. Stinky’s Vampire has a big head, big eyes, and a black cape.

Step 3: Get creative when drawing your vampire. I chose to make the vampires mouth wide open with 2 big fangs in the vampires mouth. This way the vampire can suck blood.

Step 4: What is your vampire doing? Stinky’s Vampire is waiting for lunch. Would you like to go to lunch with a Vampire? I don’t want to. Stinky’s vampire is raising his hand trying to get someones attention. Hopefully, its a werewolf that comes by and they can be friends.

Step 5: Draw something kind of creepy with your vampire. You just have too. Good look.

Don’t get discouraged if your Vampire looks different. All Vampire are different just like all people are different. Each Vampire is beautiful just like every person is beautiful.

Why Drawing a Vampire Helps Me

Drawing a Vampire makes Stinky think of creepy things at night. I will definitely invite the local raccoons to sleep with me if I draw a vampire. Drawing a Vampire helps relieve some of my stress from recycling aluminum cans all day.

I think that if you draw a Vampire that it will also help you be happy and not stressed at work or school.

Lets be happy and draw Vampire together.
