How to Draw a Marshmallow

Welcome to Stinky’s Art Class. We have the best students in the world. Todays lesson is how to draw a marshmallow.

Marshmallo

Welcome to yet another edition of Stinky’s Art Class, which has the best students in the world. So, kids, we will try something a little more complex than your usual witch hats and pine trees. Today, we will draw a scene with a marshmallow in it. Like I always say, start with getting your art supplies and place and prepare to draw and roast some marshmallows with Stinky.

First, draw the marshmallow on paper. Don’t worry, this is the easy part. Draw a cylinder-like structure but make the lines slightly fluffy and curved because marshmallows are fluffy. Once you draw the marshmallow, draw a stick that goes through it. These sticks are called skewers, and they are used to roast the marshmallow over a fire.

This brings me to the next thing to draw, the fire. You must draw two or three logs whose one end meets at the center. Once you do that, draw a hot flame over the rod below the marshmallow and the skewer. You can add little detailing, such as smoke coming up from the fire and making the edges of the marshmallow slightly darker because it is getting roasted.

After the fire is done, you can draw the end of the skewer. I’m drawing a handle to hold the skewer. For the final touch, I am drawing a tiny cartoon of myself to hold the skewer so Stinky can roast the marshmallow and make it yummy. You can either draw Stinky or draw your own cartoon.

With this, your drawing is done. If you want to be more creative, you can color the picture with different shades. Your marshmallow can be white with yellowish shades to show the roast. Your stick/skewer can be brown. Your fire will be orange, and your cartoon character can be of any color you like.

That’s all in today’s lessons. I know today’s class was slightly more difficult, but only if you challenge yourself can you make better art.
