How to Paint a Dog
Welcome to Stinky's Art Class. We have the best students in the world. Todays lesson is how to paint a dog.
Good morning people and welcome to Stinky's Art Class where we have the best students in the world! Today's lesson is going to be a little bit different, it's how to paint a dog.
Now, if you've been following along with my drawings, I use a marker and cardboard. But, Stinky found some paint in the dumpsters and so Stinky's going to try to do people. My students be asking me, "hey Stinky, why are you not using color?" Well, I'm finally gonna do it because I finally got some paint. I found a good dumpster and I found a good place to get some paint for some colors.
So, let's jump right into this lesson. It's my first lesson, so please, class take it easy on me. Stinky's on his first one. So Stinky's gonna be drawing a dog. He got one floppy ear. He knows Stinky likes dogs with one floppy ear. Okay, oh drippage. And Stinky likes the dog with eyes. And Stinky only has three colors. He's got black. I got a green, brown, gray, and white. That's the only cans I could get open. The other cans were shut.
Okay so, Stinky's gonna do his best with these colors and I think he got a couple of paint brushes. Let's do this. This one's supposed to be like this. What color is that? Green, so let's get this dog some green eyes. Okay and let's give him his body. We're going to give him a leg. Dogs should have legs. And we're gonna give him a body, a big body. And let's give him a big tail.
Okay, how's it looking so far, class? Enjoying the lesson today? Okay, I feel them. Pretty good, I think he only has a couple of things. So this paint over here, we're going to take a look at it. Paint is kind of supposed to be brown, but we're going to dig in there. See that color? It's supposed to be brown. Let's get deep in there. I don't want to get too deep. I'm not looking very brown, it's kind of brown up there. Okay, maybe we have to do this. That looks more green, it's supposed to be brown.
Okay class, I don't know. I thought that was brown, it doesn't need to be mixed. I think it might need to be mixed. Let's try to grab some of this brown off the edge over here. Sorry class, can't really see. I need both hands. There we go, you see him. I got some brown off the edge. Let's do some brown on this dog. Hey, looking pretty good. I like color. I didn't think I'd like it, I was just doing it for my students, but I'm really starting to like this brown. Let's give them some from up here. Color's pretty good, it gives more life to this painting.
Okay and let's see what else can we do to this dog? He's doing good. You want to put a little bit more black on them. Oh, look at that, got some more brown. There, get that in there. Hey, I got more respect for these painters out there, this is not easy stuff. So, all you painters, I'm gonna have a learning curve. Does anyone else feel like they have a big learning curve? I got this gray. How about some gray?
Anybody else have a learning curve in their art like Stinky? Okay, this lesson's getting way too long class, I know. You wrap it up, we're all ready to get going. Let's put a little bit of black on the nose. Wouldn't be a dog without whiskers. Okay and let's go ahead and give them some more gray. It's a gray dog, grayish brown.
Okay, I was a little bit shy with my colors, but now I'm starting to just fill it in. Starting to get the hang of it. There we go. He's a good dog. Okay class, this one's taking on these lessons with paint. Take a while, they ain't easy. Okay class, this is my first lesson with paint so, I hope you like it.
Give him a spot right there. Put the little details in there. He's got his big green eyes. Oh, do I have any more? I don't have any more paint brushes. I wonder if I can use that one. Stinky either finds some paint brushes or I guess Stinky can use this piece. Okay, I'm going to go ahead and try this, class. Got some white on here, but I don't know if it's gonna work. What do you think class? Did it work? Get enough paint. There, that looks pretty good.
Okay class, hope you enjoyed Stinky's Art Class today. This is my first painting. I found this good paint in the dumpster and it's working real good for me. Hopefully I can try to do another one of these lessons, but they are a little bit longer. So, I don't know if anyone's gonna like it or not. This is my dog. Anyways, I need a pep talk this time. Usually I'm dishing out the pep talks, but I always think he needs a pep talk, you know, to get him going on his painting. It's a little bit more difficult than Stinky thought. I wanted to give it a try to see if the class enjoyed it and wanted more painting lessons. All right class, class dismissed.
