Welcome to Stinky's Art Class. We have the best students in the world. Todays lesson is how to draw a squirrel.
Good morning people and welcome to Stinky's Art Class where we have the best students in the world! Today's lesson is how to draw a squirrel.
And I think this is going to be a pretty exciting one because I think most people have seen a squirrel or know about squirrels. They either like them or dislike them, depending on if you're a bird watcher or not.
So let's jump right into the lesson and maybe at the end I'll throw in a pep talk or two, or maybe even, a survey of the class. On what you like and don't like. So to start with the squirrel, first thing I like to do is draw a nut because, you know, that's kind of what squirrels do.
They eat nuts, right? So you got a little nut. Now let's put some texture. We talk about texture a lot. Put a little texture on that nut. Now the first thing you want to do on the squirrel is the squirrel is going to hold the nut. Right? The squirrels like to hold the nut in their hand.
So you guys make the squirrel hold the nut. Okay now the squirrels, they got real nice ears, pointy ears. Okay, so I like to do the ears and do the head. And then they got the noses. And let's do squirrel eyes. Big ol eyes.
I think we had a lesson about squirrels. I mean, not squirrels, but eyes before. Right when we close. Okay, now their body. Well, one thing we could've added. It's maybe a little too late now is the puffy cheeks. Because they stick those nuts in their cheeks. Okay, we'll just put some cheeks right there.
And their bodies. Squirrels got big feet. So them feet and their legs. And now it's starting to look a little like a squirrel.
And, here's what everybody loves. The squirrel tail. Now, how do we want to do this class? Any ideas? Well, what do you think would look good? You know, we need a fluffy tail kind of up here maybe. You know, big fluffy tail. So let's go ahead and do the kind of curvy, you know.
Okay. Does that look like a squirrel tail? And they got their little bellies. Okay. He's just sitting there. I'd like to put him sitting on a mushroom. I don't know if we have time for that, but let's go ahead and let's finish up the tail you got to do a furry tail. You want to do that. Give his body some fur, you know, and let's go ahead and give him a pile of nuts, you know, because that's what squirrels do.
They like to stack them up. So put a pile of nuts right here. And maybe one more. Okay class, that looks pretty good. I'm pretty happy with that. Oh, hold on, hold on. I thought of one more thing. Don't go anywhere. He looks like he's floating too much. Let's go ahead and give him this. He's got to be sitting on something. I want to put that mushroom in, but we'll put him on a hill.
Okay so, that's how you draw a squirrel. So class, here's what I want to ask you: to leave a comment in the comment section. I really need to know, what's your favorite art supply? What's your favorite thing that you like to use in your art? Is it a sketch pad? Is it markers? Colored pencils?
You know, canvas. Let me know what you guys would be interested in. What's your favorite things? Okay class, please leave a comment. Also, tell all your friends we need to get a lot more followers to grow the class and have a good time together. Okay so, you guys are doing great. I appreciate all the likes and comments and follows.
Let's keep going. We're all in this together. Alright? Have fun drawing squirrels today, bye.
