How to Draw a Hot Air Balloon
Welcome to Stinky's Art Class. We have the best students in the world. Todays lesson is how to draw a hot air balloon.
Good morning people and welcome to Stinky's Art Class where we have the best students in the world! Today's lesson is how to draw a hot air balloon.
Thank you for joining me on this Saturday class. Before we get started on how to draw a hot air balloon, I just want to say I did a new design for Stinky's face and Squiggly told me he didn't like it.
He said I had to go back to the original Stinky, which is the how to draw a light bulb. I'm going to do that one, but that's the original Stinky. I try to do Stinky like that, but Squiggly said "no, stick with the original." So I'm going to do that, but before we start this class today, I just want to tell the class I've been working hard.
I've been working overtime. I got like 400 drawings I'm trying to do, and that's a lot, you know, because I want the class to be able to learn everything they can. Because I know that y'all are the best art students in the world. And these lessons can help you do your art and be inspired to do better.
You know, I'm an art teacher right now. I'm also an artist. But I want, you know, you people to be the best and so one of those things you can do is just jump in. No more pep talks. I'll give you the pep talk along the way. Okay, how to draw a hot air balloon.
So the first thing we want to do is kind of think about where the hot air balloon is going to be on our canvas, okay? And I think we need to get it right up top right now. A hot air balloon looks like a regular balloon. We're going to do it to the top of the canvas.
Okay, like that is perfectly round, except for the wind's blowing. We'll add some of that in there. But this is the overall shape. And then hot air balloons there. Very colorful and very nice designs.
So we'll do this and then we'll do one of these. Okay and then we'll do one of those. Okay, does that look like a hot air balloon? Have you ever seen one like that? And then they got the little basket.
Yep, you guessed it. That's me, Stinky in a hot air balloon. That's my arm. Okay, so I'm cruising in a hot air balloon. Okay, but now you got to have perspective. Can you see the bottom of this? This is the land. Okay and we're up here by the clouds. It looks like a rain cloud.
Okay, I know I've been drawing a lot of sun lately, so we'll just make this an easy one. Okay now, you got to draw some people on the ground for perspective. Now, this may look like a flat earth down here. Right here, that looks like flat earth, but it's not. Well, maybe it is. Maybe it is.
And I don't know, so then you may like a little dog down there. So that's pretty much it. Good idea, trees. You know, we've had a lesson on trees. A pine tree. You know, some trees. People walking and oh, the wind. What do you think? Do you like that? Blowing it. That makes it look like it's going faster.
Okay so I hope you liked today's lesson. How to draw a hot air balloon. So back to what I was saying. You know, once you start working overtime, you're working hard. Sometimes it's good to take a break, you know, get outside, take a walk, and get some fresh air. Take time to let your mind relax, relax, relax and get, you know, some fresh air.
And let your creative brain rest for a minute and then get back to work. Work hard sometimes, you know, even I do it. I just wanted to finish all my art like 400 drawings all in one day. But it's not realistic. You need to take breaks, take a walk, get some physical activity, and then get back, get refreshed, get back to work. Okay class, have a good weekend. Thanks, bye.
