Welcome to Stinky's Art Class where we have the best students in the world! Thanks for coming to class today. Today's lesson is how to draw a grasshopper.

So before we start, let's take a minute to clear our minds, to relax and to think of what we need to draw. Let's get into our creative mindset. That way, we know we're going to be at our best potential.
Okay everybody, open your eyes and let's get drawing. Okay grasshopper. What do you think of when you think of a grasshopper? You think buggy eyes, right? And you think of a head. The buggy eyes. Two buggy eyes. Okay and you think of a mouth. And then you think of big grasshopper legs, right? In some cases, maybe two big legs.
They have those little pokey things. I don't know if you've ever picked up a grasshopper, but they have these big legs and they have these bodies, like this. This is their bodies. You may think they kind of have some framing things, okay? And they have more than one leg. They have some legs right here.
And they got a leg back over here in the back that you can't see. They like to line those up. Okay, so grasshoppers are not easy to draw. As you can see, you got lots of moving parts on these grasshoppers. I almost forgot about those things. Okay, now you want to go ahead and add some texture. We always like to add texture. And these little seams. And don't forget the back legs.
He looks like he's ready to jump. Okay, wow. That's an interesting looking grasshopper, isn't it? Okay class, see what happens when you take a minute before you start your artwork to get into a creative mindset, to kind of think about what you're drawing and just getting into the, you know, mode where you can accomplish anything. So approach your art this week, with a new mindset, a creative mindset.
Take a minute before you start and just visualize succeeding at art. Visualize doing well, drawing and achieving your dreams of being an artist. So just get in that good creative mindset and believe in yourself. Okay? Alright class, glad you had fun drawing the grasshopper and can't wait to see what you think about it. Alright. Thanks class, bye.
