How to Draw a Cube
Welcome to Stinky's Art Class. We have the best students in the world. Todays lesson is how to draw a cube.
Good morning people and welcome to Stinky's Art Class where we have the best students in the world! We're going to go ahead and get back to the basics and learn how to draw a cube.
Thank you for joining our class today. Now you may be thinking, you know, "why are we drawing a cube, Stinky?" Well because haven't you ever heard of Cubism?
That's a style of art where they just draw everything in cubes. I know, don't click off the video yet. I'm not just not going to go do a bunch of art history so you can relax. But cubes are good to draw. They're really easy. You do a square. Okay that's the first part of a cube.
And you draw an angle line right there. That's a cube, but think about this. Let's put a door right here and a triangle right here. And then you have a house. Let's, you know, put a little stick right here and some arms and then you have a black head guy.
You know, you could even turn this cube into a dog. You want to see that? So you watch this. Cubes can be dogs. If you're an artist and you want to be a cubist, all you have to do is do your cubes. Do your legs. Do a dog tail. That dog eyes.
There. You got a cube, dog. Okay, let's do it. How about a bird? You know, let's do a cube bird. You want to see a cube bird? Now, you may be going "Stinky this is amazing stuff." Well, that's because I'm starting to think out of the box. Just like our last lesson, right? Remember, I told everybody to start thinking out of the box? With heart.
You can do all kinds of things. You see this guy? That's a bird cube. That's a dog cube. Kind of looks like maybe a cat a little bit. And we can fix that one up. What else do you think we should do? Oh, that cube fish. I don't know if I can pull this one off, class. This is advanced stuff. It's a cube fish.
Let's see. Oh, what do you know? Those fish have big googly eyes. Little bubbles. What do you think we should do for this dog? Give them a bone. There we go. Dog bone. Okay class, so I think I've given you enough information to try some cube drawings. Hey class, listen up. This is going to be a good tip. The new year is coming up and it's going to be an epic year, but I want everybody to finish the year strong. Okay? Finishers are what we need.
We need good, strong finishers. Don't give up before the finish line. Don't slow down. Push forward. Find that inner strength to keep drawing, to keep going. Don't wait till New Year's resolutions come. Just start now. Start today. Start when you see this video. You know, draw something with a cube. It's not that hard. You see, I drew a dog, a fish, and a bird. All in cubes.
It's called Cubism. There I go again. Stinky's really into art history later lately, but I promise I'm not going to make it boring. Okay folks, have a great day. And we'll see you in class tomorrow. Oh, by the way, I hope you had a great weekend. Alright, talk to you later.
