How to Draw a Collared Shirt
Welcome to Stinky's Art Class. We have the best students in the world. Todays lesson is how to draw a collared shirt.
Good morning people and welcome to Stinky's Art Class where we have the best students in the world! Today's lesson is how to draw a collared shirt.
Now you may be thinking, "hey Stinky, where are you getting these lessons from?" Like, I don't know how to draw a collared shirt. Well, these are just exercise pieces to help you, you know, get your mind working on some new things, right?
Doing something new. Help your, you know, get your brain working. So that's what these lessons are for, they're to help you. Okay, so let's go ahead and do a collared shirt. First thing you need is to draw on the collar. That makes sense, right? So collar goes like this. It comes down like this. And then you have the buttons right?
It is kind of looking like a tuxedo, isn't it? Okay, then you want to draw the collar that comes down like this. And then you got to have the shoulders, right? Then you want to do this with the collar. Let's do this. You also want to have the cuffs, right? Those are the fancy shirts.
Okay, this looks almost like a tuxedo, doesn't it? Can you see that? Yeah, it looks almost like a tuxedo, doesn't it? Okay, okay, let's draw this head in here. So, I don't know, it kind of looks like this.
I hope you enjoyed today's lesson today. As you can tell, it's a Monday morning. I need to work on my drawings a little bit, but, hey, I'm trying to get it out there. Get stuff for you and I don't know if I'm inspiring anybody with this lesson, but I thought it would be a good exercise. And, you know, I didn't know I was setting myself up for failure for this lesson, but it looks like maybe I might have failed.
I mean, I do look good in a tuxedo, but I wasn't quite expecting this drawing to turn out the way it did. I'm just thinking, you know, maybe I'll let the class decide and critique this one. It is a Monday morning, so, you know. Give me a break. Stinky's been working overtime trying to bring you lessons and, you know, inspiration and pep talks to get you to be the best artist.
You know, I think I look pretty good with a tuxedo on. What did you think? You know, these are just exercises to help. I know not everybody's drawing collared shirts. You know, you might be drawing cool things like skulls and rabbits, you know, all kinds of lions or things that artists do.
But, hey, look, sometimes you just gotta think outside the box, draw a collared shirt, you know, and move on. Take what you can learn from yourself in this case, learn from failures and, you know, do your best and move on. And, you know, learn from it. You know, I've learned that I need to maybe think a little bit more about a collared shirt before I try to draw one, you know, plan out my canvas a little bit better so I can put my hat on.
You know, Stinky looks kind of weird. Life is fun. But, life can be a challenge sometimes. So you gotta work hard and keep doing what you're doing. What do you think those cufflinks are? Gold? Stinky, go get rich. Hopefully I can have a better art class. I can get some school, some Stinky's art supplies going.
I know I got some people supporting me and wanting me to, you know, see what we're all going to make in class. We're all gonna make it. Okay, thanks for attending class. Now for the pep talk. Hey, if you want to draw along with me and draw a collared shirt and then do a self-portrait in it, I'd like to see it. Okay, thanks class. Class dismissed. Have a great day, bye.
