How to Draw a Candle
Welcome to Stinky's Art Class. We have the best students in the world. Todays lesson is how to draw a candle.
Good morning people and welcome to Stinky's Art Class where we have the best students in the world! Today's lesson is how to draw a candle.

Now you may be saying, "hey Stinky, why do we need to draw a candle?" Well, I'll tell you why we need to draw a candle. Candles give us light and darkness and people forget about candles because now we have light bulbs.
But we still need candles. Birthday candles. We need candles, all over the place. You know, when the lights go out, you gotta have a candle. So we're going to go ahead and we're going to take a step back this time. And we're going to draw a candle that you may have seen a long time ago. So they had the candle holder, which was this base that the candle holder.
And then you have this thing here and then you have to stick your finger in there. Okay, everyone liking that? I like it black. So we're going to do this going to use some of my ink up. But you know, it's okay.
Sometimes we want to conserve our oil paints. We want to conserve our, you know, our markers because art supplies are expensive. I know, that's why I'm using cardboard canvases because they're cheap, I recycle them, I'm using cardboard. I'm recycling it and keeping the earth clean. So give me a shout out for, you know, saving the earth with my art.
Okay, but I know you want to conserve your resources and maybe conserve paint. Maybe you want to do globs of paint on your canvas and you're just like, hey, I don't want to, this paint too expensive. I can't put a glob of paint on my canvas. Well, you know what? If you want to put a glob of paint on your canvas, do it because you can.
You can't turn back on what you want to do. You need to just go ahead and make your art special. But if you start, you know, holding back then, you may or may not create the most beautiful artwork that you want. Okay, so try not to just do that. I mean, it's good to conserve, but you want to not hold back. Okay?
So what do you think, class? Should we put some little lines here to show the light? What do you think about this candle? It's kind of melting a little bit. So this is what the old timers used to use back before they had light bulbs. I'm not sure what year they invented the light bulb.
Do a little bit of history on inventions. They haven't used a lot of ink right here. You know, you got to do some textures in these candles. Because candles aren't perfect.
Okay, I said this once before. I'll say it again. Sometimes less is better. I hope everybody enjoyed the lesson today on how to draw a candle. Keep up the good work class and we'll see you in class tomorrow. Alright, thanks for being the best students in the world. Have a great day, bye.
